From a group of friends that bow down to your genius, let me take this time to respectfully share my mourning together with millions of others.
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will be forever be the foundation of Apple.
9th of July 2011, Bersih 2.0 rally, also known as the Walk for Democracy, was demonstrated in Kuala Lumpur. The day where Malaysians of all races, religions, gender and age walked tall despite police threats, tear gas, water canons and etc calling for free and fair elections in Malaysia, simple as that.
Heart-breaking. This is my country
This is the Prime Minister that was elected to take the helm of our country and this is the best he can do on national television after such an emotional and historical day for Malaysia – mock the injured, mock those who hit by ‘SIKIT SAJA’ tear gas alleging that they acted like they had been beaten up, mock those who wore yellow, mock those who cared so much for the country that he is running down to the ground.
How could he forget that all Bersih 2.0 wanted was to walk in solidarity and hand over their memorandum for reforms to the electoral system Yang di-Pertuan Agong?
Another Chinese articleI I would like to share, written by a nineteen – couldn’t agree more. Read here.
Have you ever tried the feeling of getting yourself evaluated by a friend in front of yourself? In fact, I like it this way better, at least I get to know it directly from those people I care. To be honest, I am amazed (as I totally did not expected) that some of my weaknesses you pointed out were exactly those that, I wanted but failed to improve on I promise I will be never give up working on it.
Was volunteering for NCG 2011 (Soccer) this morning. Woke up at 6.30 am, went all the way to Albert Park and stood in the wind for hours. Did nothing literally, except that I had free breakfast and lunch. The wind in Melbourne today was crazily strong and apparent Melbourne was hit by a 4.4 magnitude quake this morning, though I felt nothing Read here.
And oh, Chu The pho for dinner again! Perfect for the weather
In 2001, they met during their first year at St. Andrews Universiy in Fife, Scotland. Their relationship grew since then.
(Picture was taken on their graduation day, June 2005)
Today, they pronounce husband and wife in front of the eyes of the world and shared their first kiss on that balcony of Buckingham Palace. This newly-wed royal couple will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
All eyes were on the bride and that “royal” wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. I could sense her nerves even from the TV screen, though she was smiling and waving at the crowds. Poor girl. One wrong step and it’s a history.
The simplicity and beauty of that wedding dress reflected her elegance. The V-necked, lace long-sleeved, a swagged train with a bustle at the back waist and that fine veil of chantilly lace. She looks like a Disney Princess ♥
Just like all other Disney Princesses, Kate Middle’s dream come true and I hope they will live happily ever after
